Application:

1) Used in ion exchange resin: In the production of ion exchange resin, divinylbenzene is an important cross-linking agent. It can play a bridging role when the general monomer linear structure molecules are condensed and polymerized, bonding the groups in the molecules to form an insoluble network structure skeleton, thereby improving the ion exchange capacity, mechanical strength and service life. Ion exchange resin can be used for hard water softening, pure water production, salt extraction from seawater, purification of amino acids and antibiotics, decolorization of glucose and sugar, removal of metal ions from wastewater, etc.

2) Used in synthetic rubber: It can enhance the strength, wear resistance and heat resistance of rubber, increase the cross-linking density of rubber, and make it more stable during use.

3)Used in unsaturated polyester resin: It can improve the mechanical properties, thermal stability and chemical stability of unsaturated polyester resin, making it better used in fiberglass, coatings, adhesives and other fields.

4)Raw materials used in paints and special rubbers: in paints, they can improve the adhesion, hardness and chemical resistance of coatings; in the production of special rubbers, they are used as one of the raw materials to participate in the synthesis of rubber and improve the performance of rubber.

5)Used in polystyrene resin: Increase the hardness, heat resistance and dimensional stability of polystyrene resin, making it suitable for manufacturing various plastic products, such as electrical casings, office supplies, etc.

6)Used in cleaved exchange membranes: used as a cross-linking agent in the preparation of cleaved exchange membranes to improve the selectivity, permeability and mechanical strength of the membrane. It is widely used in fuel cells, water electrolysis, electrodialysis and other fields.
